Thursday 10 minute card challenge Nov 23rd

A few of you have been coming to this blog via WOYWW by mistake and commenting. The blog I do WOYWW on is PHOTOGRAPHY AND ME
and my craft blog is
FRUIT SALAD
but thank you for visiting this blog and saying Hi!

I know it's not Thursday but I forgot to release this
on Oct 22 and kept advising everyone that
it was up on my blog hee hee sorry about that.

This is a very cool Scrapbook Tag Book
that I first saw here

You will need 1 piece of sturdy 12"x 12" double sided
paper, I used Parisien Breeze Specialty Designer Paper
cut one at 6" x 11 1/2" and scored at 4", 5 1/2", 7", 8 1/2" & 10"
cut a second one at 6" x 7" and score at 4", 5 1/2"
then on plain cardstock to complement the dsp
cut 3 pieces at - 3 3/4" x 4 1/4"
and
cut 3 pieces at - 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"

then

fold the dsp pieces at the score point

overlap the left to the right piece at the folds
and adhere with red liner tape, this
strong tape will hold it together better

this is what it looks like joined together

I lay the cardstock pieces to see how much room I needed,
ok now you see the paper and cs has changed
because the original 12 x 12 paper I used wasn't
as thick and I tore it when scoring
that is why it is better to use a thicker
dsp for the concertina pieces

view from the end

using the corner rounder on two sides of
it took 10minutes up to this point of adhereing etc

from here on end it was downhill LOL
and took me all day to design and position the
rest of the decoration

Stamp on the vellum and adhered the
top with brads
Notice I left a piece on the left to overhang

The underside piece was stamped and embossed in clear

I put double sided tape on the overhang vellum and
adhered it to the back so you cant see the tape

stamped additional star images on vellum

rest of pieces decorated and assembled

adding brads to the words and middle of each snow flake

inside of scrapbook assembled and adhered
again using red liner strong sticky tape

decorating and assembling front of book

who were very kind in sharing their
hospitality with us earlier on in the year

Stamps used: Snow Swirled and Solemn Stillness (retired)
Paper: Parisien Breeze and Baja Breeze, paper vellum

This is just AMAZING ... I am SO impressed by it ... keep having to take another look!
Thanks for your comments on my blog ... men! Hubby means well but still doesn't understand the whole "sharing, crafting community" thing and he still won't accept that all those page views are not down just to me! xXx
